Talk Suicide Education
Talk Suicide Education has developed a range of Suicide Awareness, Intervention and Support Training Programs based on the Australian Government Living is for Everyone Framework and the Talk Suicide Model of Care. Our training provides the audience with varying levels of knowledge and skills to assist them in recognising, responding and supporting an individual at risk of suicide. Programs can also be tailored to specific audiences and needs of participants.
Talk Suicide Awareness
Program Objective
The TALK SUICIDE Awareness Presentation is designed to raise awareness of suicide in communities, provide information on how to recognize that someone may be at risk and where to go for help.
Learning Outcomes
- An understanding of the prevalence and impact of suicide in our communities
- An understanding of how assumption and attitudes can affect our ability to recognise and help a person at risk of suicide
- Essential knowledge to recognise a person at risk of suicide
- A understanding of what help is available for those at risk and their family and friends
- An awareness of the need for effective Self Care Strategies for good mental health
Talk Suicide Intervention Skills
Program Objective
The TALK SUICIDE Intervention Skills Workshop is designed to give participants the tools to recognize and respond to someone at risk of suicide.

Based on the TALK SUICIDE Support Service Model of Care, The TALK SUICIDE Intervention and Support Skills Program is designed to provide a more in depth level of knowledge and skills to be used in providing ongoing support an individual at risk of suicide.
